How about Ravel’s Bolero -”The moment near the end where the music breathtakingly modulates from the key of C to the key of E” Can’t you just hear it! My grandmother used to put her hand over her heart and sighed when she talked about Ravel’s Bolero! Go to the link below to see the symphony schedule. There is more great music to come!

AIA 2010 National Convention next month

Posted on May 21st, 2010 by

In a couple of weeks architects from around the nation will be descending on Miami for the AIA 2010 National Convention. With over 200 unique educational opportunities this will certainly be a learning experience not to be missed.

This year’s theme is “Design for the New Decade”.  AIA writes, “As a new decade begins in the 21st century, architects and design professionals continue to navigate through a difficult economic climate; rise to the challenges of creating livable communities; and contemplate how the next ten years could revise the traditional ways that they practice architecture.”

If you can’t make it to Miami between June 10th-12th you can experience all the convention has to offer online with AIA Virtual Expo.
