There will be a virtual event kicking off today that will feature a welcoming video from AIA President, Jeff Potter, FAIA. The video will be posted to the AIA National YouTube channel. The virtual event will also be composed of daily pinboards on Pinterest, a social networking site, and there will also be a Check In to Win Foursquare sweepstakes.

The two social networking sites will be used to showcase good design and encourage architecture fans to share their thoughts as well as engage with like-minded professionals during the week.

Design Build Team wants to encourage you to get out and enjoy all the wonderful architecture that the greater Kansas City has to offer in celebration of National Architecture Week.
